A child’s mouth is constantly changing. Baby teeth erupt and fall out, permanent teeth arrive, jaws grow, and the bite develops throughout childhood and adolescence.
At routine visits, we monitor your child’s teeth, jaws, bite, oral habits, and overall dental development. Watching these changes over time helps us recognize when development is progressing as expected and when something may deserve a closer look.
If additional evaluation or treatment may be beneficial, we’ll explain what we see and help your family understand the appropriate next step.
This page describes clinical care in general terms and is written for parents. It is not advice about your individual child.
